Default C5 or C6 T1 bars?

Can anyone tell me if these are C5 or C6 T1 bars?

Thanks in advance!

Looking at the pictures, they would fit either car. It looks like the rear bar does not go straight across from bushing to bushing, but has the neccessary bends to clear the C5 mufflers. It now may even fit the C6 ZO6.

It looks like the rear bar has several mounting holes (at the end). My C5 T1 rear bars do not, so I'd lean toward the C6.

those are the new style T1 bars because they have the 3 holes on the rear bar. They were made to fit both the C5 and the C6. Most shops are not sure which hole to use so they are using the middle one on most applications.

I do agree that you have a set that looks like the rear bar is bent enough to fit around the C5 exhaust. GM made a mistake with some and made them straight in the back so C5 owners were SOL.

#25534433, according to Fred Beans online catalog, comes up as "Shaft".

Do you know what Chevy part number you actually have? Bonus if we can now clear the C6 exhaust with these bars, last I heard there was interference with the stock mufflers.

Another forum member sent me this link to the other forum, now I wonder if I have the new version or not.

I also wonder if there is any way I can tell without attempting to mount them?

I've installed a set on my C6 recently and that rear bar sure looks like it would clear, mine was much straighter. Hard to say for sure with your pics though.

Would take you about 45 seconds to crawl under the car with it to hold it up and see if it will fit.

let me guess.... CPA60 SOLD you these bars?....

Those are for a C6....

I posted on his tread saying that the bars will not fit a C5.....

the front Bar will fit, but the rear will NOT (you mufflers will be in the way)

I confronted CPA60, but he insisted that bars he was selling are for a C5.. Check the tread.....

You should ask for your $ back.

I got stung on this from my Chevy dealer a few months ago, hell I even got the bar powdercoated before I found out it wouldn't fit. I have a picture of the wrong bar and the stock bar right next to eachother, I'll try to post it.

Anyway Jim I think you will be fine at first I saw the three holes and thought you were screwed, but then I noticed an extra bends to the bar I think you will be fine. Just try holding them next to eachother.

MUKAKsC5
Thanks again for the front bar (It kind of looks smaller in black, I guess that's why they say black is slimming )

You are correct, these are the real deal, the bends get it around the exhaust. They must be the new style adjustable T1 bars with the 3 holes that fit the C5.

Based on the latest part numbers posted, the swaybars there are also listed as "Shaft" in the catalog... guess shaft == anti-sway bar...

If I'm following this thread correctly, that's the old part number... the one in the picture (and that I quoted above) is the new one. I think.

that is possible. I got it from GM direct for the C5. I guess since that bar is not really made anymore they have changed the number although GM is usually pretty good about updating the web page with this part# has been replaced with this part#
