Audi R8 goes out a winner as the #2 LMP1 R8 driven by McNish/Cappello beats the LMP2 #7 Porsche RS Spyder of Bernhard/Dumas by 11.812 secs.


#009 Aston Martin of Lamy/Sarrazin wins by .33 sec. over the (comp adjusted) #3 C6.R of Fellows/O'Connell. (4th and 5th overall)

Race will be shown at 4:00PM EDT tomorrow on CBS

Actually, Pedro Lamy in the # 009 DBR9 won by 0.033 seconds over Johnny O'Connell in the # 3 C6-R.

I know.. That was close! I just got done watching it. If Johnny O would've had one more lap, he would've gotten him.

4 Cars in the GT1 class? Where are the S7 Saleens & Vipers? What is Bobby Archer retired or something?

Viper GTS-Rs are too old. They are only competitive in racing across the pond like Belcar. The fastest class has Corvettes and Vipers like the LMGT1 class, but with steel rotors and other changes.

Konrad's S7Rs qualified at Sebring just three seconds faster than the pole-sitting Panoz Esperante. One finished 19th overall and one failed to finish.

S7Rs have one two professional races this year, one in FIA GT and one in the Le Mans Series.

Acemco focused on Le Mans this year and finished 6th in class and 11th overall. They became the first Saleen S7R team to finish the 24 Hours of Le Mans (previous teams raced in 2001, 2002, and 2003).
