a few of us rented out a track for the day and hired instructors/pro drivers....As for lap times, we were all rookies and not too concerned with that this time....but next time, YES...

www.shannonville.com. Our goal that day was to continue to learn how to drive our cars safely in a controlled environment. You know..."save it for the track"

I brought my helmet but they said we didnt need them...weird huh

I *love* Shannonville Motorsports Park. I really miss it. We used to drive down in the afternoon and run until dusk/dark in the afternoon for some really cheap amount of money.

First place I ever did a trackday, first place I ever experienced extreme brake fade, first place I destroyed a set of front pads -- the friction material literally fell off the backing plate when we pulled them from the calipers.

Now you have to hit Mosport and Mont Tremblant!

The Pro that was driving with us has raced all over the place including lemans, daytona etc and he said that from a technical perspective Mosport is probably one of the top few toughest courses ANYWHERE. I really enjoyed the track. Ive done the parking lot solo event quite a few times and they are fun but being on teh big track was INCREDIBLE. Im going to try and do this a lot more often.
