Default LS1/6/2 Rev Kits : Anyone still make them?

I am looking for a Rev Kit for my new LS2. Why? I want to really wind this bad boy up.

Agostino Racing used to make a Rev Kit for the LS1 a few years ago. I emailed them, but they stopped making them now, sadly.
Unfortunately we do not offer rev kits anymore. They just weren't popular over the past 3-4 years. We have not developed one for the LS2 either.

Sorry, if there is anything else I can do for you drop me a line.
Does anyone know of any company making a Rev Kit for the LSx engine?

Katech Engineering makes a destrocked LS7 to wind up to 8,000 rpms.

Isn't more a matter of computer programing and the hardware, ie springs etc.???

Brian,

On the LSx, it stops the hydraulic lifters from pumping up at high revs (read: 8000rpm)

Don't want to go to solid rollers yet want to avoid hydraulic lifter pump up

You are spinning your wheels thinking a hydraulic-roller motor will reliably spin 8,000 rpm. Do solids and don't look back. Spend the money now to do it, or you will be throwing good money after bad. FWIW my solid roller 392 (all bore) made peak @7700, can't wait to get it back in the car. They say there is no replacement for displacement .........unless you have RPM

I had one, in fact I had the first one ever made.

If it came down to me having to buy anything from ARE or buying a different car to track, I'd buy another car.

They ripped off so many people including a very good friend of mine for the past 12 years. Whats worse is they just plain stole $1,000 from him.

Hopefully the Canadian version of the IRS will take another look at their business.

I would contact Katech simply because they deal in the more exotic side(or Wheel 2 Wheel for that matter) and see what they think.

Last I knew my REV kit was no longer on the car and floating around there somewhere.

We built a few setups at our shop. We DO NOT HAVE A KIT. But I can maybe help, if you start making your own. Let me know if I can help.
