C6 Sized Toyo DOT-Rs (or not, actually)
An email exchange I recently had with Toyo...
Me: Are you going to be producing tires appropriately sized for the C6 Corvette? Specifically the non-Z06 cars, we need a C6-sized DOT-R ASAP.
Toyo: Currently there are no plans to expand the size offerings for the RA1. New products are under development and will be introduced in the future.
Me: Any timeframe for this "future"? Hoosier has released the A6/R6 in C6 Z06 sizes but we're all dying for C6 Coupe sizes...
Toyo: Introduction might be made at SEMA this year with a possible launch campaign and tentative release in '07.
