Default Where to buy brake fluid?

I am going to a track event in a couple of weeks (Putnam Park) and want to change my brake fluid. Where do you guys buy the good brake fluid? The best I could find at Pep Boys, Auto Zone and Napa is Valvoline DOT3/4 Synthetic.

Thanks for the help

Are you going to be running R compounds and track pads? If you're just going with your street stuff, I've never had any problems with the Synpower 3/4 fluid (assuming it's fresh).

Now, if you're going with the track only tires and pads, then you might want to find some fluid that's more track-ish. (although I've never had any problems, but then I just have fun running at 8/10s or so).

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

I get ATE Super Blue from JEGS. I also buy Red Line gear oils from them too. Prices are okay, they ship fast and never have a problem with them.

Heresy here...IMO any fresh DOT 3/4 fluid should do you well for a typical 20 minute session.

Have a good one,
Mike

I have used Ford Dot 3 brake fluid for all the SCCA racing I've done and have never had any brake fade with stock calipers and wilwood pads and hoosiers. Sessions are 30 minutes max. It is about $5 a pint and you'll use 1-2 pints.
