You'll have a good time. I did Phase I in the rain in DC a few year's ago...longest slide I've ever had, about 150 ft. sideways across the parking lot. No damage. It was fun.

I did phase I and II several years ago. The hardest part is to remember everything they teach you when you go to an event and your on your own.

I have done 2 & became less slow. Rain isn't bad-it forces you to be smooth and magnifies mistakes-this is a learning process, not a race so wet pavement isn't bad. And, probably 20% of all auto-x's end up in the rain so it helps you there too.

Well guys just got back... WOW ..what a day... it sprinkled but never got the track totally wet.... I learned alot.. I must sit down and document all the stuff.... had 23 students today in class... I was 1 of 3 who broke the 26 sec mark.. I was the only one with street tires.. made me feel good... lots of good stuff... Im like you fastzr1... not sure how to remember it all... I hope to do Phase 2 one day soon...

Your probably correct on that.. it forces you to be smoother .... the KDW2's arent the best on wet... but would try my best...

Tracy did awsome out there. Even though it was my first time auto-xing the Vette and my tires are the crappy F1 GS2s, she embarrased me by a solid 1.5xx seconds:o She was definitely one of the better drivers out there today.

Tracy, it was good meeting you. Am sure I'll make down to your neck of the woods this season and TRY to give you a competition. Good luck!!

After watching you today, I am really leaning towards the KDWs.

Eric

Hey Eric... was nice to meet you yesterday and share a day of fun... Hey dont sell yourself short there... tires and tire pressure are sometimes a big factor... getting those correct I think you would of been right there with me.... I watched you in your runs... you were doing awesome for your first time in a vette... your LeMan's blue looked great out there... hope to see you again soon...
