NCCC High Speed @ Nelson Ledges - May 29
Corvette Cleveland will be hosting (1) High Speed event at Nelson Ledges on Memorial Day. Nelson Ledges is a 2.1mi road course, located just west of Warren, OH.
Format for the day will be per NCCC rules/classes. Non-Corvettes are welcome. All drivers must have NCCC high speed license, competition license (SCCA, NASA, etc) or prior high speed experience (showing proof-email for more info).
With only having (1) NCCC event sanction, the "event" will take place in the morning (4 parade laps and 3 timed runs). In the afternoon we will be holding a Driver's School, giving 3 on-track sessions.
Price for the day is $85. More information can be found at:
www.corvettecleveland.org
To answer some of the questions I know are coming:
1) yes, only 1 NCCC event
2) yes, we know there are 21 low speeds in SC that many are going to-if you don't want to go south, we hope you can join us!
3) yes, we are holding the school in the afternoon, NOT the morning. If all goes well, then we'll look at doing that for Labor Day.
4) yes, the $85 covers the whole day-event and school. You must take part in the event to do the school.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to post, we'll be checking this post frequently to answer anything.
Thanks!
