Default Rotor Upgrade - NCCC Rules

Is a two piece Rotor/Hat assembly legal under the NCCC’s rules in Group II as long as the rotor diameter and thickness is equal to OEM?

I’ve got to step up in rotor quality. One of my brand new NAPA font rotors was seriously cracked after one hard day of running last weekends NCCC High Speed at Rockingham

I’ll be heading to CMP later this year, I hear that’s a tough on brakes.

Not in Group II, but you could in III and then you have to make sure you have a roll bar and meet the rest of the requirements for III to be able to run.

Hey Now Poncho…..I'm legit in IIH. I even put my C5 Z51 Bars back on when the rules separated me from Z06s.

We missed ya at Rockingham, it was super fun.

I was hoping that “Stock Size Performance Rotors (Slotted or Dimpled) are allowed” would let me run a Hat/Rotor Assembly.

The Webbers have been successful with Brembo rotors. …Other suggestions?

It sounds like you need to put in cooling ducts to the rotors. Or go slower!!!!

Ouuu..the S word!!......Slower.....I have a hard time even spelling it!

The Gtech measured me braking at up to 1.22G - Hawk HT10's rock!

Cooling Ducts and Better Rotors....Maybe an Oil Cooler too...I want to run well at CMP this fall.

Greg, I just watched your in car vid from The Rock and I think you cracked your rotor the first time you entered turn 1 at about 125mph and tried to cram the brake pedal through the floorboard

I could be wrong but I believe the 2 pc. rotors would put you in group III-RP, not group III Modified.
I recommend you just use the E-brake.

Group II is as far as I can logically go and still have a competitive car.
