That was cool. Those cars are fast. They handle turns like they arent even there. Luv to watch 'them on the speed channel.

that was cool thanks. The acceleration on the last straight when you could see them all together was simply insane to watch...

Almost as fast as a Door Slammer in the 1/4 mile (high 7's), but after the 1/4 mile it can hit the brakes and make a 50 MPH turn in another 100 yards. Corners in the high 3 Gs range, brakes in the high 4Gs range.

They had an episode of Top Gear or 5th Gear when Jeremy something (one of the hosts) takes a Mercury Cougar out, Colin McRae takes his Ralley car out, and Jonny Herbert takes a Jaguar F1 car out. I believe it was at Silverstone the Cougar got a 45 sec head start then McRae got a 30 sec headstart so the F1 car was held back 1 min 15 sec and at the finish Herbert won by a car length over McRae and McRae had 2 cars on the Cougar.
It was funny because the host heard the F1 car and really started to watch his mirrors, but they had dots on the screen showing the closing rate and it was crazy!
