Need a replacement trans
OK, I munched third gear on my '02 Z06 last weekend at the track and am in need of advice on where the best place is to get a rebuilt one that I can swap out. I will do the swap myself but I just need a good reliable source for someone who can build a trans for the track.

Bob - first is there a lift tall enough for you to get under 
I replaced mine with the RPM transmission (Rodney). It is by far superior to stock and I have not heard of anyone having problems with them.
I know you don't do any 1/4 mile racing, but I would also look at the DTE brace while you are pulling things apart. It will help with wheel hop and any other pressure on your tranny.
BTW - running Watkins Glen Monday and Tuesday. Heading back for Level II in Spetember.
