Default

I have carried that 69.99 Harbor freight boat winch for 4yrs. Luckily I haven't needed it for my C5. But i winched a Viper with one inflated tire ,laying on the floor pan , becuase the wheels were "despoked" due to a big hit. the winch was able to drag the car up on the owners trailer, slowly, but it worked. the portability factor is nice. I made a set of 30ft jumper cables for power, spliced into the winches quick disconnect modular plug. I always carry a couple 10,000lb 3-4ft straps with D-rings/hooks, in additon to the regular tiedown tackle. ............sad day in motorsports at the IRL today. ....................i carry the winch in a small case , it is not mounted on my trailer
