I'm used to Goodyear GSCS DOT track tires...they require more to warm them up than Hoosier's. Hoosier's fall off quickly when used up.

How do the Ecsta 710's work?

I assume you mean for track use and not autoX.

I have used the 710s extensively, as well as GY and Hoosier R compound tires. The 710s last for a long time, but their traction starts to fall of afte 4 to 6 heat cycles. You can use for a veeeery loooong time, but their grip is not competitive with newer tires.

I use the new 710s for autoX, then relegate them to track day use where I just drive for fun, not competitively.
On the track, I think both GY and Hoosier have better initial grip (first 2-3 heat cycles), but then fall off considerably faster than the Kumhos.

Hope this helps...
