Bought my USGP Tickets!
I sat down a few minutes ago and picked up my USGP F1 tickets.
Got the Car Corral pass which was nice. You drive the Vette and you get to park in the interior of the track and are first out when the race is over, plus its free.
Sitting in Paddock, Box 9, Row H seats 3&4.
Anyone know how this is in relation to the garages? The woman I spoke to was very helpful but I was trying to gauge about where I would be.
I know we're very near the start/finish line, if not right at it.
WAY cheaper than Montreal, $357 for all 4 days including parking.

You should have a great time but be patient after the race. I know the crowds are smaller at gp but after the indy race all infield traffic is held up until the crowd leaves. Foot traffic packs all exits including vehicle lanes. The only way to beat it is to be in your car before race is over. Have a good time.

The women I spoke with at the track said this year, and I hope she is right, that infield cars in the Car Corral get to leave first.
Nothing is worse than leaving Montreal. 100,000 people and 2 lines for the subway. Its an hour and a half wall to wall people.

Hopefully this year will be a better one for you guys... I won't be watching. I've completely boycotted the USGP for atleast two years after the spectacle that was the 2005USGP. Mr. E. is killing the series.

If your going to Montreal try this place:
http://www.aubergelepomerol.com/en/default.aspx
Best place to stay in our opinion. Its directly across the street from the Berry station, 25-30 minutes to get to your seats from your room. Its 1 hop on the subway to the island.
Very inexspensive for the accomodations, $240CA a night for race weekend, its 1/2 that during normal times of the year.
Central to the city, Berry is the main subway station. You can be anywhere in the city in 15 minutes. 2 blocks from Old Montreal.
We stay there everytime we go, most other places in the area are $400 per night.
Have a good time, its a great race and a fantastic city.

Traffic leaving the USGP isn't that bad. I wish AMS could do as well with the NASCAR race.

Well the tickets might be cheaper but they soak you on the hotel rooms.
$720 for a Comfort Inn, not the best, not the worst but it'll do.
I miss Montreal already
