Default HELP brey-krause harness bar install trouble

just started to install it. went to remove the seat belt bolt on the pillar. im using a torx t-50 socket but does not seem to fit. the socket seems to be a bit larger and will not slip into the opening of the bolt. this is the proper tool the install calls for.

should i tap it in with a mallet? any other suggestions would be great.

thanks

T47 for C5, T45 for C4. Here is an install link showing the correct type of Torx socket to use for those types of bolts.

I don't think that you want to REMOVE the bolt. Simply remove the nut and lift the seat rail to have clear access to the bolt.

I don't think we're all talking about the same thing, no way around removing the bolts. The B-K hardware has to get bolted in with the stock stuff.
