Steering wheel removal
OK, I got my new steering wheel and quick release adaptor, what is the easiest to remove the stock wheel? My standard steering wheel puller needs to bolt to the wheel, there is nothing to bolt to, any suggestions will be appreciated.

Burning Brakes
High Explosives.
seriously.
The only way I was able to do it, was with a really big gear puller on the outside edge of the wheel. Servce manual says to use the 'GM wheel puller' which uses those little tiny slits in the middle . . . use the edge.
Any way, go slowly, and use some WD40 on the shaft itself so that it's able to pop free -- do NOT be in the firing line of the wheel, since it'll probably pop free w/ nearly zero warning.
Hope it helps.
