Will 3 tires fit inside a C5 Z06?
I am picking up a C5 Z06 this week that happens to have 3 extra tires. The car had a flat at 13,000 miles and the owner just replaced all 4 tires but kept the three old good ones. Could I take the 3 extra GoodYear F1 SC tires with me in the car? Would they fit? I was thinking two in the back and one in the passenger seat.
How long does a set of stock Z06 tires last? Would they still have a lot of life and miles left in them?
Thanks!

The tires are the standard size from the C5 Z06. They will not be mounted on wheels.
By the way, I posted over here because I figured you racing guys have had more experience with trying to transport wheels and tires.
Thanks.

Yes they will. The fronts, or 285 or smaller will go in from behind the passenger seat or drivers seat. 2 315s will fit on the passenger seat. Also in the car using passenger floor space the inside of rims and just about every other open space, a 5 gallon air bottle, helmet bag, tool box, 2 small ice chests, gear bag and a weeks worth of clothes. Once you know where everything goes you can load it in 15 minutes.
EDIT: forgot the floor jack.

They will fit. I sold a set of 4 to a guy with a FRC and he was able to get all four inside. We put them in plastic bags and he put the two fronts in the front seat.

Thanks guys. I was planning on putting the tires in heavy duty construction site garbage bags to keep the car clean.
So it sounds like they might not go in from the trunk opening, but I can move the seats all the way forward, put two tires in the back, then move the seat back and put one in the passenger seat. I'll give it a shot. Thanks.
