zaino vs maguires - which is best
I have had a C4, C5 and now the C6. I've always used Maguires on the cars. After reading some postings, I'm wondering why it's not been suggested to me by others to switch.
What is the difference?

Zaino
Used Maguires for years. Zaino is a cut above. More durable and higher gloss. It comes in collectable souvenir bottles

For me, it comes down to effort.
I've found that with just about any high quality wax/polish system, you can get an incredible shine, and one will not be appreciably different from the other.
The question is, how much work does it take to get there, and how much work does it take to maintain it? I found that the Meguiar's waxes and polishes take a lot of effort and lot of buffing to apply and remove -- Zaino takes almost none. If you're buffing with Zaino, you need to let it dry some more.
Plus, the Zaino shine tends to last longer, and I can go longer (though I usually don't) in between wax (polish) applications.
Of course, the biggest factor in a good shine is good prep work. Make sure you use a clay bar, and I prefer to remove any surface imperfections with 3M's products prior to Zaino application. I find the Zaino Z-5 to be absolutely worthless.

On the upside, it's cheaper and easier to obtain.

NXT is so easy to use and looks great. From what I've read here, be prepared to spend the better part of a day if you perform all of the steps with Zaino.
NXT can be applied and removed in the better part of an hour. May not last as long but I can do it a few extra times. Besides it smells so good.
Leaves more time for driving rather than polishing.

I have used both Zaino and "M" (I hate trying to remember how to spell it) NXT extensively. I use M on my Corvette and my Acura now because it is easier to buy locally and seems to have something of a "cleaner" in it (I assume mild abrasive) that tends to clean the surface and take out minor swirl marks.
I still use Zaino on my wife's Tahoe because I still think Zaino lasts a little longer, and the Tahoe is a royal pain in the *** to wax.
BTW, I don't do all the steps on Zaino, and don't find it necessary. I do wash with dawn first, and clay if they need it. But that should be done regardless of the wax you use.

And as a side note, I ordered the Zaino on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Received it on my door step today - regular shipping. Now I'm ready with a close and personal on the C6 this weekend.
