Default Zaino works for me

Easy to use, good protection (it even has SPF 15 sunscreen) and great shine. Kind of pricey but I think it's worth it.

your gonna get a huge debate here.....

zaino. used alot of other stuff over the years and nothing beats the ease of use and shine you get.

I have used so many different waxes and polishes over the years that I cleaned out an entire section of my garage awhile back of old stuff. I have had good luck with the Mcguirers NXT line. It is a lot easier for me to use than the "Z" products that require so much prep work. The local supplier in my area that carried the "Z" line no longer stocks it which caused me to go to the NXT line of products.

If you are a "Z" line of products fan, go for it, everybody likes something different thank goodness, other wise we would all be driving the same color cookie cutter style of car.

Meguires #7 polish, then NXT, then #26 yellow is what I go with. Also gets high remarks on DetailCity.com

Meguiar's NXT for me too. So easy to use and since it's a spray on "wet or dry" I use it with the car slightly wet from the wash and dry it while polishing in one step. Also use it on your chrome or polished wheels at least 5 or 6 times per year...the brake dust and road debris comes off SO easily.

Amazing....no one mentioning Zaino yet.
So far I have used Zaino. Planning on trying Zymol for my next wax when I get the chance.
Interpret that your own way. Havent tried the NXT yet , but have heard nothing bad about it.
Good Luck.....

Default I like the Zaino

products. First ap. is involved if you do it right. After that first ap., it's really easy. Love the end results.

You are going to get allot of opinions on this question so I might as well give you mine also.

I use a product called s100 that I use to use on my Harley. It is one of the few waxes I have found that specifies that it will NOT leave white stains on your plastic or trim and it doesn't!

I read so many member liked McGuire’s NTX so thought I'd try some. Guess I did not read the label good because it says don't use on plastic. I use to use McGuire’s gold class, it also leaves a white mess if you get it on any plastic or trim, of course you won’t see it for weeks, then when it appears it is almost impossible to remove.

I haven’t tried Zaino and it might be just as good. It’s actually a dollar cheaper than the S100 I use.

I’d read the label closely and see if it warns about getting it on plastic or moldings. I personally will no longer use any wax with this warning - I guess I’m not careful enough applying it and I am certainly tired of the old white streaks appearing on trim.

Anyway I did half my rear vert. deck with NTX and half with S100 and after two weeks I can still see no difference, I'll stick with S100 then if I get sloppy I won't pay the price.

If your interested try your local Harley Davidson dealer or just do a web search for S100 Paste Wax, it ain't cheap but it's amazing how little it takes to do your whole car.

Good luck.

I started out with Meguiars liquid crystal polish, then went to Liquid Glass, then went to Meguiars NXT tech wax, and now I'm back with Liquid Glass. To me, there was no difference in the reflectivity, depth, or wetness of shine between any of the above products but the LG is by far the more durable and long lasting of the ones I have tried.

After three years of using Zaino I have yet to see anything that I personally like better, or anything that has made me want to change.

AND, I DO try them all on my Monte Carlo. My Monte CArlo is my Guinea Pig. I give everything a try and I'd have to say that NXT is very nice for my Monte Carlo. It seems to cover up or repair minor imperfections in the surface that you get from driving everyday in all types of conditions.

The C5 still gets Zaino though. The C5 never sees bad weather so it's easy t keep it looking good.

I think it took me about fifteen minutes and the first reply. ...and no, Sal doesn't pay me - I send him WAY too much money for my wax.

no offense but you are not looking for a polish, as it is used prior to protection in order to clean and repair the surface through chemical and/or abrasives. You are looking for a wax or sealant, and based on your comment on protection, I assume you meant "durability" or length of protection. Here are my take on some of the most popular sealants on the market ....
