Best Leather Care Product
The idea is to have a definitive list/poll of Car Care products that can be brought up now and then for newbies, or people that want information on the products we like/use. After a few categories, we will see if the results bear out the effort.
This category will strictly be for Leather Conditioners .
We will do a separate category for leather cleaners later.
The results will not be scientific, but hopefully, if everyone answers honestly, without voting to promote a product they sell themselves, we can pool our collective knowledge and experience to help others make an informed choice.
The results will be archived, so anytime a new person inquires what product most of us like/use, it will be readily available. If there is a product you use that is not listed in the poll that you like, please feel free to add it. Any comments are welcome within the body of the thread.

Wow, 5 votes, and only two products voted for so far?
I guess the Lexol people must still be at work.

I voted for Pinnacle because of it's rich leather smell. It isn't glossy, and makes the whole car smell like new. It is expensive, but worth it to me.

With 18 votes in so far, it seems that Zaino Leather care is the top choice. What would be nice for this category would be for some of those users who voted for Zaino to state why they like the product the best. Kind of like what Z Dreaming posted about Pinnacle describing the reasons, and what makes the product the best in your view.

Hide Food does WONDERS to certain types of leather (makes them feel smooth and supple), but it's basically just lanolin (hand cream) and parafin wax, so I'm not sure how much protection it provides. Its smell is much "classier" than most of the American brands, and that's why I use it sometimes.

I'm a Zaino user, all I can say is the product cleans and protects both my cars, my 99 vette and wifes PT Cruiser. The stuff smells so good that when I'm finished with the cars I take the saturated towels and clean all my leather loafers, watch band and sometimes I'll wipe down our leather familiy room furniture. Then I leave the saturated towel under tha passenger seat to keep that smell.

Thanks for the follow up comments.
I will start a new category in a few more days, so please keep the votes/comments coming in this one before it falls off the front page, and gets archived.

Re: Best Leather Care Product (Z Factor)
Most are good. You can also get some at http://www.LeatherMagic.com
The thing that you shouldn't do is bounce from Leather care product to leather care product like some do with their wax. Leather is porous and some of oils from one product may get trapped in the pours and gradually and in some cases harden the leather.
What is the best product? Most are good.

That and enough people who's opinions I value say it's one of the best. From what I have seen of others comments, I don't think there is enough difference in the top few brands for me to bother trying do figure iur which one is really best.

Re: Best Leather Care Product (bhamvett)
Lexol IS the industry standard by which all others are judged!
Got some proof to back that statement up???

Re: Best Leather Care Product (bhamvett)
I like Lexol also as it's a good product, but it has a funny smell to it. It doesn't really smell like leather, and that is the reason I recommend Pinnacle.

I use Leatherique and find it works wonders on all types of leather....that said, GM leather is horrible, and even leatherique conditioned vette leather has pretty much the same subtleness as cardboard.

Love the smell and the feel it gives the leather
