For C5 cloth tops it is definatly RaggTop cleaner and conditioner. For vinyl tops 303 has a 2 step cleaner and conditiuoner kit.

I have used the Raggtop and have had problems with the spray can conditioner. I have had the same experience with 2 different cans, most recently yesterday. The fine mist spray starts to foam up and a big glob of foam will fall onto the top (which happens to be oak colored) and it leaves a big dark colored mark. I think it would be better if it was non aerosol.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and comments - i have ordered the Raggtop product.

rwlc5 - sorry to hear about the spray can problem - could this have been avoided by wiping any build-up from the can before it drops onto the roof? My roof is black, so maybe it would not show up as bad as a light colored roof..

I talked to the people at Raggtop and they said I can use the protectant on the vinyl C4 and the cloth C5 top. For cleaning I prefer a product by Cyclo called Max-Clean and a SOFT brush. The top on my C4(4 sale) is 2yrs old now and looks new.

Garage queen formula: Once a year, Raggtopp cleaner, then protect with 303 Fabric protector. For routine cleanings, plain water scrub with a natural bristle brush......no cleaners, no soaps. After 3 years, top looks like the day delivered. :yesnod:
