Goopy greasy stuff

While driving I got some goopy greasy stuff on my light oak convertible top. I removed most of it with car wash soap, Ragtopp cleaner, and Simple Green. There is still a noticable spot left (about the size of a half dollar). Any ideas on how to remove this so that it doesn't become permanent would be appreciated.
