How do you clean your Zaino ZFX bottles?
I have been using Zaino for about a year now and I tried ZFX for the first time this weekend. It works great. I rinsed the bottle immediately after using it, but I couldn't get it really clean. I tried really hot water and that got some of it out, but it also disfigured the bottle. How is everyone else doing it?

I also use a foam swab to clean out any residue that remains. I have noticed that the new formulations of Z5 & Z2 seem to wash out of the bottles better.

I use dishwashing soap and warm water to get as much as possible, then rubbing (or denatured) alcohol to get the rest, then a twisted piece of paper towel to do an inside wipe-down.

dump the clumpy chunky stuff out(kind of wasteful), wipe out the rest with a paper towel, fill up the bottle with alcohol, shake it once or twice, let it sit...dump out the alky/zfx mix...paper towel dry-re-use.

I don't...I use a 35mm film canister...it has a snap on lid....when you are done, just toss it away :D

Old Zaino - rubbing alcohol.
New version - usually hot water, sometimes a bit of rubbing alcohol.

I'm using the old Zaino. The rubbing alcohol and toothbrush worked great. Thanks to everyone for the good advice.

I squirt in some dawn and then fill with warm water and shake. What is left in the bottle I clean with a small bottle washer. Works great.

Dawn won't cut Zaino, next time, fill the bottle about 1/3 with 91% rubbing alcohol and shake it.. You wont need to use that bottle washer brush..
