Re: Zaino Negatives (Highroller)
Wait a second while I get my flame suit on.....ok. I used Zaino for over two years and was pleased with it but I decided to try Pinnacle Soveran. IMHO..the shine is much wetter and deeper with the Pinnacle. It goes on like butter and wipes off very easy. It really is a different type of shine from the Zaino and really boils down to subjective taste.
The initial application of Zaino requires a few steps but many feel it is worth it. Actually with any polish/wax you need to prep your paint before applying for the best results. One difference between the Zaino and Pinnacle is durability. Zaino will last longer but since I polish/wax my car every month, that is not a factor for me. You really should try Zaino for yourself and maybe do a comparison to see for yourself. I do know that Pinnacle looks great on black and red vehicles!
There seems to be more people switching from Zaino to other products or maybe they are just being more vocal recently. I only say this due to the number of threads I have seen recently...

Re: Zaino Negatives (Roadfrog)
I have Zaino ready for application but haven't gotten around to applying it. I got aspray bottle of their Z6 Gloss Enhancer and it is amazing. I have since purchased a case! Still using the original bottle; a little goes a long way (another good thing about their products from what I hear). I haven't waxed my car with anything since leasing it and just wash it. After I am done, I spritz a bit of the Z6 on and wipe the car down. It is amazingly reflective. Lazy man's way to a "Zaino'd Z06"

Have any of you tried the Zaino swirl mark polish? I noticed some fine scratches and was wondering if this was worth trying?

Water (chemical) spotting
I had six coats of Zaino on my Z06 when it was exposed to ground water from a sprinkler system in Marina del Rey, CA. The water beaded on the surface just fine, but as it dried, the chemicals in the water went right through the Zaino to etch the clear coat. I was disappointed that the Zaino didn't protect the finish better than it did. :nonod:

Re: Water (gmblack3)
It's likely nothing would have protected the finish, and I'm sorry for the problem.
There does, however, appear to be a misapprehension that Zaino will protect against things no wax or polish can. Often, it's just the result of never having encountered the substance that will do the damage. There's no substitute for good luck.

I feel the same as most of the other responses, Zanio shine is the best I have ever seen. I also like their leather conditioner. [IMG][/IMG]

Re: Zaino Negatives (Roadfrog)
Their glass polish was the ONLY product thet could get the water spots off my windshield.
I like Zaino because of the ease of application and removal. My Z is Quicksilver, so its hard to say if Zaino is the best. QS looks just fine if its just clean. Seems to do real justice to red cars though.
