If Zaino is so good, then why...?

Ut Oh, sounds like the natives are getting restless. I have heard that Pinnacle looks good but doesn't last. For looks I am sold on Zaino but wished it lasted longer on my everyday car that sits outside. Personally I was sick of that smeary look in the sun on a black car I got from wax so Zaino works for me. Use whatever works for you...

I would rather buy a product that updates it technology as improvements come along than to have the same product my father used. I guess you'll want the C6 to show no improvements over the C5. Oh well.

Took me about 20 minutes to Zaino my everyday car yesterday. Even the initial application is quick if your finish is nice. Anything will take time if your car needs work. Never understood when people say Zaino is time consuming.

agentf1, you are right. If ZFX is used there is no additional time needed. Mixing the ZFX might take 1-2 minutes though :)

Most Zaino users used Meguiar's, that's why they like Zaino so much. ;)
I love Zaino now... As for doing a car properly, in 20 minutes from start to finish? Hmmmmmmm... It'd take longer then that to CLAY the car.. Oh well.

I for one am glad that companies improve thier products. Case in point is the time it used to take to remove Blue Coral from a vehicle. It was much more time consuming, much less durable and did not give the brilliance of today's products be it Zaino, 3M, Meguir's, Liqui-Tech, etc.

I don't know if this has been posted before but makes for interesting reading if you haven't seen it before.

This was the Porsche guy that got mad because Z-5 did not cover his scratched car, and he did not believe that he needed to use 3M Scratch and Swirl Remover first, at least that is what the Meguiar's rep told him.

Carl,
Have been using the Z's with several coats of Z5/ZFX and Z6 in between. Have Z7'd it and then applied more Z2/ZFX and Z6 before Cavalcade. Haven't touched it since (about 2 weeks). Looked at it today in the light, between showers, and the Black finish looked cloudy/hazy. It has been garage kept the whole time. I washed with Z7 and a coat of Z6 seemed to do the trick but I thought that the Z's would hold up better

If you had haze in your finish you either applied too much polish or you did not let the polish fully dry before removing, a damp towel or washing the car should fix that, What you were seeing has nothing to do with how long Zaino holds up, you most likely just apply too much polish. :)

EVERYBODY here takes this way,way too serious. I have an idea though....once a week everyone here can take the energy they expend saying this is better than that, come over to my house and use that extra energy to wax MY car. Saturday morning is open.....who's first???? Coffee will be ready.
