Ok, since I sold my vette when I moved b/c I got a company car and live in an apartment complex now so it would have to sit outside, I have been carless.
But I am going to be buying a BMW 325 Vert shortly (from pops so it will be cheap). But I need to get a car cover to keep it under since it will only be driven on weekends. So, what kind of cover do you recomend? I was thinking Noah, but I know little about the different covers.
Noah would be an excellent choice. Evolution 4 is another good choice - it's slightly better at door ding protection (since it's 4 layers thick versus NOAH at 3 layers), but NOAH is a little bit better at environmental protection.
Make sure you get the cable and lock kit so no one steals the cover.

Re: Car Cover (MBVette)
Well, having a cover can be good or bad here are a few tips on keeping your car under a cover:
Tip 1: Before you put the car cover make sure it is free of dirt.
Tip 2: Since you'll be parking it outside make sure that you have the corners and sides secure. If the corners aren't secure the wind can blow dirt up inside and then as the it flaps in the wind it lightly sands away on the corners.
Tip 3: When you store it make sure you keep it in some sort of cover so you don't get dirt on the inside. (The way I fold them makes it so that the inside is the part that is folded to the outside).
There have been positive comments passed in regard to the WeatherShield covers for outdoor storage, although you will find that the Weathershield will set you back at least $100.00 more than a Noah or an Evolution 4.
I have done quite a bit of research on car covers and the various materials offered and their appropriate applications. I have found the best bet is to ask for material samples of the covers that you are considering. Companies like CoverCraft are very receptive to this type of inquiry and will send you whatever material samples interest you.
I had given serious thought to the Weathershield myself, but decided that it was not the right choice for me (expense/car does not sit outside). Judging between the Noah and the Evolution 4, I found that the underside of the Evolution 4 material was not as soft as the Noah; ultimately I chose the Noah cover. It's the cover that I thought would best suit my needs.
Do some homework, there are various web sites that offer info. about materials and applications. Request material samples, and make the choice that suits your needs. As mentioned, a cable and lock would also be a wise choice considering where the car will be sitting. Good Luck.
I'd highly recommend the Weathershield fabric made by Covercraft. I've used a lot of covers, including Noah, and for weather protection and keeping the finish clean nothing is close to Weathershield. It is only one layer thick but it repels water and it "breathes" without letting moisture build up underneath. Unlike the other covers I have used, it lets little or no dust or moisture through it. It can be removed when wet by just pulling up on the fabric in several spots to allow the water droplets to roll off and then blotting any remaining water with a towel. No waiting for a wet and soggy cover to dry before removing it. It is light in weight and very easy to install or remove and store. These covers are available through Ecklers, Giriots Garage and lots of other sources so shop for prices. They are not cheap but they do the job that you buy a outdoor cover for. Mine is about 7 or 8 months old and shows no signs of wear or tear and there is no sign of any scratches on the black paint.
