I now 2 coats of Z2, and 1 of Z5. (Z2,Z5,Z2,Z6) I would like to do more Z5, and realize when I am done I should Z2 it for best optical appearance... So my question: Before I go back and put more Z5 on, do I need to wash with Z7? or can I just apply the Z5..... this is of course assuming the car is clean.

If the car isn't dirty, just use a California Duster and Z-6 it, then polish away.

If it's clean, you can go right to Z5. Then back to Z2, or another Z5, etc. After 10 coats or six months - you need to reuse Z1 or ZFX, whichever you use. If you've been using ZFX for all your coats - then the 10 coat /6 month barrier will be pushed back. :seeya
