Default Detail Spray on a ceramic coated car??

I applied the Avalon King this spring, do I need to use a different detail spray now?? Used Turtle Wax Ice Detailer in the past.

I just installed a Wind Restrictor and there's a boatload of fingerprints. Cars not dirty enough to wash...

Something like Griot's speed shine, or your quick detailer should do fine with a clean microfiber. Possibly consider something like Wolfgang's waterless wash products to keep on hand.. many times my car just not dirty enough for a 3 bucket wash

I would more likely use an SiO2 based spray as a sacrificial layer, like Polish Angel or Kamikaze overcoat.

I haven't seen much difference or benefit to any of the new sio2 based quick sprays I have used I lean all the ceramic and sio2 products towards marketing over performance. That is my actual experience with the many I have tried, I look at results.. nobody pays me to try them I just like to sample new stuff here and there.

I really like Adams ceramic waterless wash diluted 1:1 for a quick detail or drying aid for its high lubricity and shine.

Saw it on Apex’s YouTube channel. Works well for my needs.

I keep a spray bottle of ONR to use between washes and to get off bugs or bird crap. Going to try Mckees 37 next.

Why not full strength?

As it’s more concentrated than needed for detail or drying vs waterless wash. But sure I guess you could.

I recently started using Adams Graphene CS3 Waterless Wash Ceramic Spray Coating Detail Spray and really like the product. I saw in an online forum that users claim they are diluting the product 1:1 with distilled water without affecting its performance. I would appreciate your comment.

That is not a product that you should dilute as it is a ceramic based product and water and ceramic will not mix together.

Best,

@BIGMAC If this is directed at my post, please note, I stated I diluted waterless wash, not CS3.

You use a diluted polish as a detail spray?

Wolfgang Uber Sio2 rinseless wash diluted to detail spray ratio (use distilled water if you can) makes a great quick detailer. I’ve used it on two coatings and it works well. Was a FYRARMS recommendation!

Glad it is working well for you! Literally, I have been using it more and more for all kinds of tasks. Detail spray, waterless wash, cleaning windows, cleaning wheels, even wiping down interiors. Probably in my Top 5 list of favorite detailing products.

Funny, because I'd be willing to bet even at "full strength" there's more water in the bottle than anything else.
