Wax as you dry products

Wax as you dry products
I’ve always been a fan of eagle 1 nano wax,, probably for the better part of a decade. I picked up the turtle wax ceramic product about a two months ago, since then have washed the car 3-4 times (cicada season and lots of spring showers). My issue is it really sparkles but it smears a lot like an oil, and needs time to cure. I’ve even tried buffing the car one more time after application and it doesn’t really do much. Here’s a pic where it’s particularly obvious on the rear quarter panel.
so
1. Do you use wax as you dry products?
2. If so what brand?
3. If you use “ceramic” products, is this typical?
4. If not do you have any tips during application to share?

I personally do not use wax and dry products. Very seldom does my car get dirty enough that I actually have to hand wash it, I only dust off the car with a California Duster and then go over it with Griot's Speed Shine. When waxing it, I also use Griot's product, use their 3 in 1 Ceramic Wax, have had no problems with any of their products.

I tried one from McGuiars that worked well but you really had to be careful about using too much or you'd be doing a lot of rubbing. The best I've run into is McGuiars ceramic wax. Easy on and off and remains hydrophobic for quite a long time.

Use it with an electric cold water pressure washer.

When I do wax the car, I use Turtle Wax Ice paste wax. Works good and leaves no white residue.

I won a bottle of 303 Touchless Sealant as a door prize at a car show. Used it on my Honda a few months ago for the first time. Spray on while wet and rinse off. It's glossy and water beads well so far, but I can't say how long it will last.

I can only imaging what that would look like on a black car, OP......
I love black, but my gosh, when the sun is out, you can see every single imperfection.
Having said that, McGuire products do well with my car.

I have recently applied two coats of the Turtle Wax ceramic wax and was amazed.
It is cheap as hell, I think $14, and it was easy to apply. As noted above, I had to wait a day between applications, but my car has never been so shiny before.

Turtle Wax: Wax and Dry...
It gets no easier - wash car, spray on, wipe off, no streaks. I would say this product is more like a maintenance or detail product, IE: it goes over an already perfect car to keep it looking decent. I daily my car and it sits outside 24/7/365 so no matter what I use I'll have to clean the car again in a week or two. I'm not trying to win any awards at car shows so I don't need a flawless mirror finish.

I've gone away from waxes in recent years and moved over to ceramic coatings. Sometimes will use a quick detailer from time to time, but with CC you basically wash it and rinse and watch all the water run off.
My car hardly every gets dirty either, but I still wash it weekly or at the latest bi-weekly. I'd never ever use a California duster or similar on any of my cars.

you are absolutely correct, these are maintenance sprays and more importantly for me great drying aids.
I decided to try the turtle one sio2 ceramic wax as you dry update to their carnuba spray you pictured, when I ran out of my eagle 1, because it was on sale and it smelled good.
I’m new to these ceramic products. Like I said the shine is amazing - like looking into a crystal. The Sio2 layer is much, much prettier than any carnuba wax I’ve ever used when it goes on right. Unfortunately the turtle wax brand ceramic wax as you dry version streaks everywhere, and it is a dust magnet if it doesn’t cure in the sun for a few hours. I’ve tried a microfiber and a terry cloth, no difference. I tried spraying less, as instructed, and more than instructed. No difference.
I was hopeful that adding a nice base layer of ceramic wax would help reduce streaking of the maintenance wax as you dry, which I did last week, and it did not. I also added it during my last 3-4 washes, hoping it would build up, but it still streaks.
I think I’m going to keep trying a few more brands in Sio2, and as they run out just keep trying others till I find the one that I like or doesn’t streak. Meguiars will be next. For those considering the turtle wax ceramic wax as you dry, now you have my experience with it on a metallic car. Im not talking about their base coat waxes, which I do love.
I appreciate all the suggestions so far! 👍👍👍

I wonder what I’m doing wrong or if I bought a bad bottle? I’ve even tried shaking it, still smears like crazy! Cold out, hot out, it’s all been the same…

Of all the money I have spent on product wasting away on the shelf, I am still loving TW Seal n Shine. Man this stuff is tough and super easy to apply, wet or dry.
