Default Polishing pads

So here's the deal:

I have a DA machine and want to apply a coat of rejex to a Chrysler Pacifica. I don't really enjoy waxing cars to begin with and want to let the machine do most of the work.

What pads do I need to simply apply and then remove rejex?

In order to make an experienced response can you tell us...

What make/model of DA machine do you have?

I have a few suggestions that "work for me".

I have this:

I am not looking to do a lot of detail and finessing. Mostly I just want to apply and then buff away rejex without doing it by hand.

Make sure to use a foam pad with no abrasive qualities to apply the sealant. Don't use heavy pressure or high speeds, its not needed. After it dries, consider using a MicroFiber bonnet over a foam pad to help with removal.

The Harbor Freight 6 In. Variable Speed Dual Action Polisher is not a bad entry level machine if you only use it a few times a year.

My suggestions:

IMHO DA machines work best with a 5" backing plate
Meguiars Mirror Glaze W67DA G110 DA Polisher 5 inch Backing Plate
For the extra $2-$3 dollars "Do it once. Do it right."

For Applying LSP
LC Blue Finessing Flat 5.5 inch Foam Pad
or
LC Hydro-Tech Crimson Finishing Foam

For Removing LSP
Lambswool 6 Inch Leveling Pad
use it with
Indigo 6 Inch Microfiber Bonnets 2 pack

Run slow speed 2-3 with light downward pressure.

NOTE: (Killrwheels@Autogeek I hope you don't mind a couple of links to your stuff)

Thanks guys. I have a shopping cart going over at Autogeek.net. I went Merlinii's advice and have a 5" backing plate and several pads, as well as bonnets, selected.
