MSD Ignition Box
My 64 Vette has a 327 that gets lit by an MSD coil (6AL)and the MSD billet distributor(8572). I just completed a valve job, new valves, guides, springs, the works. It starts and runs well until it gets to 3200 rpm, then it flutters and backfires. The MSD coil box tests ok, and I sent the distributor to MSD for a new magnetic pickup (a month and a half). Also followed all the adjustments on the Holley 650 double pumper, and I'm pretty sure it is ok. I'm about ready to put a bullet in the demon. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
