Confused about PC7424 and the counterweight
My PC 7424 arrived in the mail this morning.
I was under the impression that it came with the 5 inch counterweight, so I bought all 5 inch pads. But the counterweight says "use 6 inch pads only". Is this okay or do I need to buy the other counterweight?
I see other threads asking about the OTHER way, i.e. the 5" weight with 6" pads... some people say it makes a huge difference, other people can't tell, it seems.
I just want to make sure I'm not about to damage the machine if I use a 6" weight with 5" pads.

6" pad is too much for the 7424.5.5 is most you will want to go

I used to sell a lot of these machines. The matching counterweight helps the machine run smooth. I have a couple counterweights left but I'm not sure which ones they are. I will be home tomorrow morning and can send you one if I have what you need.
Edit: Just checked with the wife. I have a 5" counterweight at the house. If that is what you need, PM me your info and I will send it to you.

There are two counterweights available for the original 7424 ....as offered they help with smoothing out the machine, but some suggest no notable difference. We sell a replacement 6 inch counterweight.
