Despite my best efforts to apply Zaino Clear Seal per the instructions, I can't get it to cure without streaking and the need for a follow up wipe with Z-8 or Z-6. What am I doing wrong?

It's usually attributable to using too much product or applying it in high humidity. In any event, a finish swipe with Z8 will bring out the luster and rid you of the streaking.

Using too much product will do that. The first time I used it I had the same problem. A little of the CS goes a long way.

Odds are you are using too much. I am using the same bottle of Z-CS for almost 8 year now and I think I have about 30-40% left. And I have 3 (sometimes 4) cars. If you are applying it like a quick detail spray then that is WAY too much.

I normally will prime the applicator with one pump and that will take care of the entire hood. 5-6 pumps should take care of the entire car.

I have had the same issue and like people are saying I was using too much product or not giving it enough curing time. A little Z8 on a cloth took care of the streaking for me. Good luck

As is the case with all of the high-quality car care products, you will find that less is (almost) always more. It seems that all of the good products become more difficult to work with when using too much and / or when humidity is high. I used the Zaino clear coat sealer the other day when it was both cool and damp and, as a result, I had to buff and rebuff to get the correct finish. But don't despair, these products are expensive for a reason ... they are GOOD!!! ... and when you finally get done, your efforts will be rewarded!!!
