New to rag top vert... couple care questions
I am new to the 'rag top' vert. I have had a couple hardtop convertibles...
Luckily for me I live by a hand car wash so I plan to go there as I have with my previous cars with good success... do I tell them not to put soap on the top?
Also, after hand washing, they drive the car forward and it does have blowers to dry the car and then they finish it off by hand.
My question is, how dry does the top have to be before it should remain down?
Any tips on if bird droppings should get on the top?
Do any of you use spot remover from 303 or any other brand?
lastly, does the top collect much lint? If so is a lint brush safe.
Thanks!

I personally don't wash my top until it's dirty / dusty looking.
I don't put the top down until it's dry ...
I have some RAGGTOP cleaning products, IMO DEFINATELY check those out, protection / cleaning etc
and I have both the tape lint roller and a real nice horse hair brush I use on the top
Hope this helps

After applying the protectant and allowing it to cure you can wash your top with car wash soap as you would any other part. You can even use a boars hair brush if you need a little scrubbing. Once you feel the roof is losing its protection, consider using the cleaner to deep clean and then re-prep with the protectant.
