Help fixing fuel rail cover
I screwed up my fuel rail covers today, changing the engine oil. How did I accomplish this?
I have been in the habit of draping the engine bay like a surgeon when I add oil. You know, so not a drop of oil gets where it should not.
Today, I grabbed an old beach towel from the workbench to do the job, and forgot that I had the boat batteries sitting on top of it earlier.
In the time it took to pour the new oil in, the acid from the towel discolored the fuel rail cover. Looks nasty.
Hit it with some Meguiars back to black, and it did not help at all.
Any advice on fixing this?

Probably no fixing the battery acid. You can either paint them or buy another set. They are usually on ebay for around $50. That is a pretty cheap fix. Just had mine painted by Steve Ray
