Is it more of a spray wax than a spray detailer ?

I recently tried it (with totally clean MFs) and noticed I needed to lightly buff it in.

Spray on

Wipe down

then buff the light haze

A little different than other spray detailers I have used (like Meguiar's "Quik", Meguiar's Synthetic, Mother's Showtime, or Finish KARE 425.

Don't get me wrong, I still like it, I just noticed the difference.

The Griot's site lists it as "Spray detailer"

Just curious if anyone else has used it ... and your results.

A lot of what I like to call "detail sprays" or "quick detailers +" need a little additional buff. They don't really last past the first wash however. Also try to regulate how much your using, you should need no more than 1/2 a spritz on an entire panel.

Griots does make a Spray Wax also. I have used it on wet paint and dry paint. It is more durable on dry paint but also needs some additional buffing. It does add some gloss. Others to consider would be Duragloss Aquawax and Optimums Car Wax.

1/2 a spritz per panel? I do at least 4-5 per panel.

If your using their quality sprayer, you are likely wasting a lot of product. Of course panel size could be an issue also ....
