you would need a pressure washer, foam cannon, and a good car wash.

you would first foam your car let it dwell for a few minutes, let the car wash soap do the work, rinse, then follow with a traditional wash. foaming the car will remove quite a bit of the loose dirt and grime on the car hence reducing the chance of marring and swirling your paint.

will the foam remove more dirt then just hitting it with a power washer before a hand wash?

yes the soap will encapsulate the dirt and grime and pull some of the dirt and grime off, then rinse and do a traditional wash.

Great video.
Looking to buy myself a new pressure washer. The unit in the video is incredible, but incredibly expensive for the DYI-er.
Phil. What electric units do you recommend that will do a good job with a foam cannon? I had a Karcher 1500 PSI but was told this is too low to achieve a good "shaving cream" type foam. I was told 1800 psi is the minimum is this correct?
Thanks.

I would love to buy the foam cannon but I have no clue if it will work with the pressure washer I have. It's just some cheap one my mom got several years ago. How does the foam cannon attach to the pressure washer handle? Is it a quick connect setup or does it screw on?

I see there is a quick connect set up with a 1/4 inch quick connect and a m22 connector.

This one is a cheaper price than the one sold on Auto Geek.net. I might have to buy this one.
