Default 2012 Centennial Edition Corvette ZR1 Detail

I had the honor of working on a very good client's 2012 Centennial Edition ZR1. It is fairly new, but unfortunately the dealer touched it. There was some minor swirling and some holograms on the finish. The holograms were most evident on the carbon fiber roof and the rear spoiler.

Products Used:
Adam's Car Shampoo
Adam's All Purpose Cleaner
Adam's Glass Cleaner
Meguiar's M205
Chemical Guys Blacklight
Chemical Guys Lava
Chemical Guys V7 Hybrid
Adam's sVRT
Chemical Guy's Bare Bones Undercarriage Spray
Adam's In and Out Spray
ONR(clay lube)
Adam's Clay Bar
ONR(detail spray)

Here are some shots of the car during the initial inspection:

Due to the sensitivity of the carbon ceramic brakes, I took extra care to keep any chemicals from contacting them:

Adam's APC dwelling to loosen up the bugs and road grime on the front end:

After washing the car with Adam's Car Shampoo with 2 oz of APC to strip the finish, I was able to see the true condition of the paint. Swirling and holograms became much more visible:

M205 on a black finishing pad on a Flex 3401 was able to get all of the imperfections out, and finished down very nicely:

(Didn't realize this shot was so out of focus...unfortunately didn't get another shot)

Finished Product:

Thanks for checking it out!

Nice work. I had a cent GS vert. Carbon flash is one of the most gorgeous colors properly detailed.

I couldn't agree with you more. It's without a doubt my favorite color I've ever worked with. Has an amazing amount of flake in it, yet when it's in the dark it's so deep like a jet black. Gorgeous color.
