Open beer. Wash often and keep waxed. Rarely use soap, leaf blower to blow out the cracks and crevices. Microfiber towel in one hand and waffle towel in the other. Use microfiber to disburse remaining water and water spots. Dry with waffle. Get a long handle brush for the wheels and wheel wells. Open another beer.

I rarely wash mine, maybe once or twice a summer. I just use California Duster and US Auto Super Shine detail spray w/ microfiber towels in between since it rarely gets dirty.

Quicker and better than microfiber towels. The filtered and heated air helps evaporate some of the water and blows the rest off of the car!

When washing and drying never ever ever ever ever ever use circular motions. Straight lines only. Go one direction for washing, and perpendicular when drying. That way if you see scratches you know exactly what is causing it. 2 buckets for washing, and leaf blower to dry it helps a lot. This is from an owner of a black C5, which is one of the toughest cars in history to keep looking good

Been using the California Dry Blade for yrs now following up w/leather chamois. Wash outdoors & get into the garage to dry (get out of the sun asap). Also agree not to use circler motions while washing & waxing. I try to go back & forth front to back. Chamois does a good job on the glass.

To dry I use water and air....

Water sheeting then use a leaf blower

WATER SHEETING

When I wash my car the only thing that touches the paint is the wash mit.

Its simple,
The more you touch the paint the more scratchs/swirls you will get.

Glad someone noticed.

I found that rinsing the vehicle, unlike the guy from WCC, Adams, to not use a spray but soft slow water running from the hose. If your vette is wax'ed well the water just flows off leaving a pretty dry path, spraying splashes water drops all over. It saves drying time big time.....
