Need to ship a lowered vette from Oklahoma to Virginia, any suggestions, not over $1K?

Not exactly the right forum for this, but I know all the big name carriers will do it way more than your price. I think you might have some trouble finding a good carrier with a price like that.

If your upper limit on cost is $1000, you are almost certainly going to have to use an open trailer. For a few hundred more I believe you can get an enclosed hauler from someone such as Inter City Lines. I used them from New Hampshire to Texas and I am very happy with their service.

Try Intercity Lines. They offer discounts for CF members.

I was extremely happy with InterCity Lines. If the car is lowered, you'll probably want a carrier with an elevator lift on the tail for a straight drive on.

It might be difficult finding an enclosed carrier at your price point though.

Old thread but rather than start a new one I figured I would bump this one. I will be looking to ship a vehicle from MA to CO, what are the best bang for the buck in terms of shipping now in 2014? Anyone with trials and tribulations from recent shipping? My price range is not to exceed 1500$. Thanks in advance.
