Gotta give credit where credit is due.
My car has almost 70k on it now, and sees more than its share of dirt. I've tracked it since i bought it, both on the drag strip and on the road course. I default to driving it over washing it...and dirt, brake dust and even rubber has often sat on the paint for weeks...in fact I put it away dirty last fall and didn’t even touch it till spring broke.
Last fall my fiancé bought me a porter cable, and I decided to give it a shot since the car hasn’t been buffed since I bought it - (thanks agent F1!!!)
So I talked to some folks and got some recommendations... the paint was pretty much wacked. Guys gave me all kinds of recommendations... all said I had to get pretty aggressive.
So I washed and clayed it then went and got some Meg 105 and 205, and had at it. I followed up with some Zaino Z5. It came out better, but nothing to write home about. And I busted my azz doing it over 2 days. The paint still looked pretty scuffed and swirled but it was definitely better. looking at it closely it still seemed to have a haze on it.... Then one of the guys that details the cars we bring to car shows, told me to hit it with some Zaino All in One, and follow with Z2.... and good god.
Now I know white doesn’t shine the way most of the other colors do, but what a difference the AIO and Z2 made. The car looks cleaner, the shine looks deeper, and my god it's never shined the way it does.
sorry for the camera phone pics, but I have to give credit to Zaino for making what I considered to be a huge jump in the gloss and reflection.... and I mean huge. (anyone who has seen my car at ECS can probably attest to its previous condition )
So Sal, I don’t know what you put in this stuff... but damn.
Sorry for the crappy pics, but I'll try and get more after another coat of Z2!
Oh and Frankie (agent f1), thanks for sowing me how to do this a couple of years ago!!!

You gotta stop over and see us more often, it has been too long. Send your beautiful bride our love too.
And if you have any scratches or swirls that require the strength of a rotary please feel free to stop by.

Incredible shine for a white car. That Zaino is some #%*&.... Now watch how nice it stays even after track days and neglect.
