Default Zaino First Impressions

Let me start by saying Im a ZAino fan now, and this process doesnt take that long.

Yesterday I begin the Zaino Process. I washed the Car with Dawn/dry, then clay, then rinsed/dry. Added a Z5 with zfx and then Z6.

I done 2 coats of z5 with zfx and z6.

My question is do I use z2 as well????

Im at work right now, and I cant rememeber if it was z2 or z5 yesterday, cant rememebr which one

Z2 and Z5 are perfectly compatible in any order. I prefer Z2 after Z5 as it is more optically perfect. Z5 has some filling capabilities for minor swirls and really works well with darker colors. Try the Clear sealant and follow with a Z8 finish after you have layered your Z2 and Z5 for a little more of a wet look.

Generally z5 up to 4-5 coats then a layer or two of z2.

I just use z5... never liked z2 as much.

Z6 will work fine if you don't have the Z8.

you can also mix 2 and 5 1/2 to 1/2........or what ever ratio you want.

Z2 should still be applied. Z5 helps to remove whatever little swilrs or scratches you may have. Z2 is the polish. It adds, gloss, depth and shine

I bought black 09 convertible last week. It needed cleaning badly. I claybarred it and applied a coat of Megs NXT and now it looks like it just came out of the showroom. After spending about 2 days researching and reading I just ordered the Zaino stuff I think need to give it the "show car" look. This thread really helped me make the decision. I hope it works.

Wolfdogs,
Have you used a wax after Z2 applications? Also if so I have considered a coat or two of pro's yellow wax. Any input would be great. Thanks in advance Jeff
