i finally bought some the other day b/c autozone started carrying it. i have used zaino before. the lg seems non abrasive. i did not get any black on the applicator. (something that does happen w. zaino) it does seem to attract more dust than zaino(if that is possible) it was harder to remove than zaino, but had fewer steps. (no z1) i could not tell that it filled any scratches, but the luster is similar to zaino. i'll have to wait to see about the durability issue.
my advice is to try it and see if YOU like it. i like trying new products to see how they compare to what i have been using.
good luck, steven
I use liquid glass on my car. It lasts quite a bit longer than any wax I have tried. It only works well on smooth, clean paint. It works well on tops also.
I've used LG on my black truck for 10 yrs. and my 1960 for 17 yrs. and am completely satisfied with it. After reading all the hype about Zaino I tried it on my new C5. My opinion is that they are both about equal. There are a few advantages and disadvantages with both. Your best bet is to try both and make up your own mind.
I used nothing but LG on my '66 and '84. Both were Tuxedo Black. Worked very well - I was satisfied. Use Mother's Carnuba on my yellow '93, and Collinite followed by Mother's Showtime on my navy blue met. C5. I am currently using up the LG on my jetski. Its not that I don't like it for the C5. I just wanted to try something different.
Liquid glass is fine for a metal vehicle. I have used it for years on my Olds, and other cars. It seems to stop rust, as I have owned a car for ten years that was regularly Liquid Glassed, but it has a white powder when you wipe it off.
I prefer Zaino on my C-5, but still use Liquid Glass on metal. Hope this helps, Bob. :)
