Swirl Marks....

Just to make sure...Does a swirl mark look like a light scratch in the clearcoat??? For example I was towel drying my car the otherday and left what looked like a little collection of scratches... Is this a swirl mark or did I scratch the car???

Those are scrathces, swirls are usually caused by electric buffers or abrasive washing.
