Default Washing with hot water???

Does washing with warm or hot water have any effect on the wax/sealants? Does it break it down or remove it, or is it fine to use warm/hot water.

Sometimes I'll rinse my plow truck off with the hose just hooked up to the hot water spigot.

As I understand it the Hot/Warm water intensifies the effect of the soap. Making it stronger than it would be in a Cold water solution. Removing more of the LSP.

If I'm wrong other will correct.

Heat / water will act as a catalyst to intensify the effect of the cleaning agent.

We are not talking about hot water more on the lines of (a) heated water (b) waxes and sealants are formlated to be detergent proof.

The real concern here should be the pH of the cleaning solution not the heat effect of the 'hot' water on the LSP
