Found a beautiful triple black manual 2004 vert. Like most vette owners, my vettes don't go anywhere unless they are presentable. My last vette was a '93 ruby vert, and that color required daily dusting/polishing (just my preference). I have read forum posts that stipulate "any color but black" when posting WTB threads. Are swirls or orange peel more apparent in black? A polished black vette looks awesome to me. Any comments?
Take a nice picture of it when you get it all cleaned up. That way you will have something nice to remember. There is no way to keep a triple black clean.

Dang! You guys are telling me exactly what I was asking for, but not what I was hoping for. No black, so I will focus on a 2003 Z06 millennium yellow that is available. I'm 78, and what time I have left will be driving, not cleaning.
Just my opinion, but I think nothing looks better than a black vette. It is a pain to keep clean, but when it is, it looks unbelievable. Souveran looks fabulous, very easy to use and maintain. I'd buy another black one in a heartbeat!

I have the triple black vert as well. I love black! Yes, it is a pain to keep clean, but it is so worth it! This weenkend, it is even being shown with all the new cars at the 2010 International Car Show, in Greenville, SC!

EVERYTHING is more apparent in black.
The easiest way to keep a black car looking good is not to worry with it at all and go get a topless hooker to ride around with you so nobody pays any attention to the car.

Good input.... thanks.
A man after my own heart there comes a time when somethings are just more important than others

Turbo5, following your suggestion, a nice shot of a clean triple black:

If that's what you want, get a red one. They look better dirty.
