Default Tint removal with steam...

I decided to remove the rear window tint on my 2008 Z06 this weekend.

I bought the car with the rear tint still installed. Thankfully whoever removed the driver and passenger side tint already didn't attempt the rear because they did a HORRIBLE job leaving a ton of adhesive where the windows roll down automatically when the door is open.

Instead of paying someone to remove the tint or having my car and garage smell like cat piss I invested in a steamer.

Long story short, the tint came off glue and all no problem! I'd say at least 99% of the glue was removed intact. As long as you are patient and let the steam do it's job this is a great method to use!

Total time invested in the project - 1 hour

I took some pictures with my iPhone, didn't have my digital camera charged

Enjoy!
