Any Harley owners on this board? Paint question.
I've got an 04 Fatboy with vivid black paint and I was just curious if anyone has used a buffer on their bikes? How this is the clear? Can it handle a little correction?
Black paint shows everything and I thought I would've learned my lesson with my black C5

We have several clients that purchase thru bikedepot.com and use buffers on factory paint. Always use the least abrasive polish and pad combo as possible and on bikes you will need very small pads. S100 (basically the bike line of P21S) also offers a paint cleansing lotion that IMO has some light filling and can be used prior to waxing for those not wanting to polish. It will remove old waxes and sealants too.

Yep, I have polished both of mine. Black is a b*tch and seems a lot softer than the others. Griot's 3" random is ideal. Wish I'd have found a good buffer long ago. Hand polishing bikes and cars all these decades has been a chore.
