Perforated Leather
(A-Aniline / Non-Coated) choose a water-based product that does not clog the pores of perforated leather and does not contain harsh chemicals that can damage the protective covering or strip the pigmented dye. The overall objective is to maintain the appearance of the leather as it was from the factory.

The keys to leather care are keeping leather;
(a) Hydrated - use water-based products and clean surfaces with a damp towel
(b) Clean - as dirt / grit and subsequent friction cause the finish to wear.
(c) Protected - is essential as it will protect the surface finish and makes dirt easier to clean off and an ultra violet protective product (UVR) will preserve the finish

My recommendation for water-based leather care products - Leather Master

since the leather is coated or protected, you can wipe down with something like 303 Protectant for best results. I also use Einszett Leather Protectant with no issues. I do apply to towel versus leather directly and rub towel together (coating towel evenly) so it wont allow extra to go into holes in leather.

I like the suggestion of Leather Masters. I really find that cleaning leathers with 10:1 Woolite is very effective, been doing it for some time. IIRC Caddy suggests this method in the newer owners manuals.

Cheers
