three days left .... no kidding this is gone on friday and truthfully I dont see another sale coming like it. If you are considering the Flex, this is the kit and price with all the options.
Can you edjumacate me on what the benefit provided by the bonnets are? Also why the blue and red pads when I thought the process was orange, white, gray?
Time for me to buy, but I'm still struggling which way to go....PC Kit or Flex Kit. I have no experience with a buffer and have been told using a PC might be better for a first time user. True or false?

I have this PC for sale, but I'm not going to BS you. The flex is better and about the same as far as learning goes. The PC is a great machine. Very user friendly and easy to learn. The flex is obviously a lot more $.
Every PC owner who has tried the Flex has moved to it and never moved back. Its about twice the machine. The design is still quite safe and consensus is the Flex is still much safer than rotary.
I have a PC, UDM, Flex, and Hitachi rotary ... and only the Flex has been used in the past year for paint care specifically. Its just that good !
A reminder .... sale absolutely ends tomorrow night !!!

blue and red pads are finishing pads and can be used for wax application or final polishing only. Blue is slightly (very slightly) softer than grey IMO. Bonnets are commonly used over foam pads to buff off wax or polish for those that dont do so by hand.
I’ve been visiting the car care section for several months now. Initially, I was convinced to get the PC. As I continued learning I came to believe that the Flex is really what I want (thanks to the input of members throughout various threads), but the price caused me to procrastinate. I have used a cheap random orbital for many years on various cars to apply and remove polishes, etc, but it will no longer suffice. Unfortunately, my latest vette has had scratches in the clear coat even while it was displayed on the showroom floor--one that my fingernail even catches. The dealership (intentionally or not) fooled me with glazes that eventually wore off to reveal the same scratches.
From what I have learned, the Flex and the light cutting pads should do the trick for me, correct?
Should I follow the same procedure as with the PC instructional videos?
Is there a separate instructional video specifically for the Flex somewhere?
Guess I just need a little extra confirmation before I spend the money even on a good deal as this. I re-read the "application" instructions and it seems straightforward, but I tend to be a visual learner Would you recommend something with stronger cutting power even on a new finish?

At 8am the price is still on sale, sure it will change here quite shortly. For anyone up early and was on the fence, take the final opportunity to pick it up before the sale ends sometime this morning !!!
